Known problems from GSIM longrun_a

 

TOF energy/time for track-matched events (affects first batch of files, fixed in release-1-17)

Systematic errors in theta and p, GSIM events from Recsis

Elastic scattering in CELEG - cross section too low relative to delta

Radiative effects in CELEG - absent

GSIM infinite loops

Missing EC1 bank

Error messages in output file

Sampling fraction 16-17% lower in calorimeter? (seen by Cole, not by David)

Geometry same in RECSIS and GSIM ?

Phi angle reconstruction biased, and differently for + and -

See no kaons? (probably ok, energy is too low)

Width and endpoint of Q-squared distribution from CELEG are both smaller than the data (related to lack of radiative effects?)

Theta limit in data is ~17 degrees, but ~18.5 degrees in CELEG/GSIM (shift or cutoff?)

Single pion production from higher resonances underpredicted by CELEG/GSIM

Mass derived from TOF is narrower in CELEG/GSIM than in the data

Quality control on multiple distributed farms(need run parameters in BOS file?)

No target cell in GSIM
