GSIM Focus Group

Administrative organization:

• Regular meetings: weekly, with focused agenda distributed beforehand, and minutes of the meetings distributed afterwards.
• Minutes distributed to GSIM, offline, and CALCOM mailing lists.
• Focus intensively on highest priority items.
• Have target deadlines for each project.
• Provide help/support for people without much experience with GSIM.
• Cooperate and coordinate with people working on existing projects as much as possible.
• First focus: to be able to generate acceptances for e+h reactions:
• Get GSIM to be compatible with time-based tracking in Recsis
• Speed up the code enough to produce sufficient statistics (to be defined more precisely, but of order 10 to 100 times faster).
• Precise list of participants will vary with time; 33% of time devoted to this project by all participants in the core group; additional participants are welcome but a time estimate is requested of everyone.
