I have set up a PMT inside a black box at the top of the Right Spectrometer 
Hut. It is connected to a High Voltage source and the top of it is covered up 
with paper. Shown below is the pedestal signal over time of the PMT connected 
to an 18bit ADC. The histogram shows the pedestal difference. The data rate is 
still 30Hz.

I will now try to reduce the noise of the signal and do further tests at 60, 
120 and 240 Hz.
