Jefferson Lab Home Search Contact JLab

Jefferson Lab currently supports research in two broad areas of scientific investigation, the Nuclear Physics program and the Free-Electron Laser (FEL) program. Each program has its own review process for consideration of proposed research.

Experiments at JLab are reviewed, approved for beamtime and run using the procedures summarized in the documents listed below.

User Liaison Office (ULO) puts out calls for proposals and coordinates the review process for the Nuclear Physics program. Gwyn Williams, Basic Science Program Manager, puts out calls for proposals for the FEL program.
