However, a number of font files don't get read due to "protocol not
supported" errors. An example message is (this was given to me over
the phone so it might not be exact):
$NETFILE-W-MATCHFAIL, NCDnet DAP open attempt for
NCD_ROOT:[FONTS.PCF.DW100DPI]FONTS.DIR returning: protocol not supported.
Of more importance, it seems to me, is that when we try to change
parameters and write to a file we get the same "protocol not supported"
error.
It looks to me like my FAL object, proxies and NCD-related accounts are
all okay according to my old NCDware 3.0 manual. But there must be
*something* that I've got wrong. Can anyone suggest where I might look?
Also, we need to set the ip-subnet-mask. What's the format for that
parameter? I get a syntax error with:
ip-subnet-mask = 0XFFFFFC00
