Well, unless those NCD 15b terminals are entierely ROM-based (I don't
know, the oldest models we have are 17g i.e. the 88K processor
models), that person would need the NCD code to be downloaded to the
terminal.
I think that 3.x releases of the NCD software had the code for such
old iron. The 4.x certainly hasn't (they don't even support the
88K-based models anymore). I think it will be required to get hold of
such a software distribution. Not sure NCD would still sell it. For
such old models giving it for free would look more sensible to me,
especially since they're just giving the media for free. The license
was bundled with the hardware.
