Many people are finding that their NC's are running out of
memory when using Netscape 3.0
It turns out that Netscape apparently feels X server memory is
the same as host memory. Netscape 3.0 can use as much as 12 Megs
of memory all by itself, presumably just with cached pictures.
The way to deal with this is to lower the MEMORY_CACHE_SIZE in your
Netscape preferences file (usually $HOME/.netscape/preferences.)
