Welcome to the "ncd-users" mailing list!
----------------------------------------
This list is open to any and all people with an interest in NCD X Terminals.
To communicate with other NCD users on this list, email should be sent to
<ncd-users@ncd.com>.
The purpose of this list is to allow users of NCD X Terminals to communicate
with each other and share information on how they use NCD X Terminals, what
tricks or shortcuts they have learned and discuss interoperability issues
with hosts, software and networks.
Although this list is maintained and monitored by NCD's Technical Support
group, ncd-users is not an official NCD techsupport mechanism. Some NCD
techsupport specialists may be participating informally, but this list is
really designed for you and other users like you.
If you have any editorial comments or encounter any problems, please send
mail to <owner-ncd-users@ncd.com>.
I have turned on archiving so anyone who has missed some early conversations
can read the archive. You can see what archives are available by using the:

command. Once you get the filenames, you can get a file with the

keep the disk space under control.
Some Guidleline for New Users
-----------------------------
Mailing lists are notorious for getting very large, very fast; which
is good! The more people you can bounce a question of off the more likely
you will receive a clever or thoughtful answer to your problem. They also
have a reputation for being overrun with noise. So here are a few common
sense guidelines you will want to remember...
1: This list is NOT moderated! Every message that is sent to the list
will be passed on to every member of the list.
2: Please take person to person conversations off line. If the results
would be of interest to the group, post them back to the mailing list
with the word "SUMMARY:" at the beginning of the Subject line.
3: Requests to have addresses added or removed from the list should NOT
be sent to the entire list. Instead, they should be mailed to:
<ncd-majordomo@ncd.com>
4: Discussions should be limited to NCD X Terminal issues. If you want
to discuss something else, take it to another more appropriate
mailing list or newsgroup.
5: Remember to read the appropriate manuals before posting. Often times
the manuals contain answers for common problems.
6: Abusive or inflammatory remarks will not be tolerated.
7: Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in removal from the
mailing list.
