The standard ftp client has an (undocumented) "passive" option, where it
attempts to use the PASV command on the server to make data transfers.
This mode is compatible with our firewall configuration. Invoke
ftp with a "-p" option, or invoke with the name "pftp" (which is a
soft link to ftp). I have tested this, and it works for me. Your
mileage may vary. In particular, I have heard rumors that some ftp
servers don't implement the PASV command correctly.
