Subscribing to A Majordomo mailing list:

 All of the following commands are sent as lines in the body
  of a message sent to: majordomo@jlab.org

 To see what commands are available (A more verbose version of this document):
   HELP

 To see what lists are available:
   LISTS

 To see more information on a particular list: (If available)
   INFO list_name

 To Subscribe to a list:
   SUBSCRIBE list_name
   
 To subscribe another address for yourself or another person (this may be 
  disabled for some lists and usually will require the other party to
  approve the request)
   SUBSCRIBE list_name my_isp_username@my_isp.com
   
 To reread the introductory message (if one existed) for a list:
   INTRO list_name

 To Unsubscribe from a list:
   UNSUBSCRIBE list_name

 To remove an address other than the one from which you're sending
  the request, give that address in the command:
	UNSUBSCRIBE list_name my_isp_username@my-isp.com

 Conclude your message with an additional line:
   END
               in order to prevent signature lines from causing
               you to receive an error message.

 The majordomo routine at jlab.org will communicate the results to
 you via mail messages.
