Right now, e1 run just finished 9 days of running at 1.6 GeV
with an electron beam and liquid hydrogen target. This afternoon,
the energy will change to 2.4 GeV. With a loose
electron trigger, we have NO trigger restrictions on the
accompanying hadrons. We have established that the basic rate
of scattered electrons is right and are working to improve
event reconstruction capability.
I also want to remind you that the next collaboration meeting will
be January 8-10, 1998 at the lab. There will be run group
meetings Thursday afternoon and 2 days of plenary sessions.
I will send a detailed schedule on Friday. The deadline for
PAC proposals is tomorrow and we could not change the collab
meeting to match it this time. We will be sure to schedule
the next collaboration meeting so there is enough time to
properly evaluate proposals for CLAS approval.
best wishes,
Steve Dytman
