Dear collaborator,

The "novices" shift schedule for September/October commissioning run
is now available on the web. To schedule the "experts" shifts I will
need the names of "novices" who will be representing your institution
at the commissioning run. This information is vital for further
planning since some , or even many of the "novices" will in fact
be "experts". Please send your list as soon as possible to:

calcom@cebaf.gov

with the subject line:

"shift schedule - your institution".

If you would like to volunteer for shifts outside of the
"novices" schedule, I would like to know this as well. In this
case please indicate if you have already special knowledge relevant
during the run, e.g. data acquisition, offline analysis, monitoring
programs, ...etc.. Please put "volunteer" in the subject line.

I would like to remind everybody that this will be the final
commissioning run for CLAS. Therefore, I would like to see this run
treated "as if" it was a physics run. This is meant to help insure that
nothing important will be forgotten during preparation.

Best regards,
Volker Burkert
