Dear Collaborators,
Please signup for your institutional shifts for the upcomming g1 run
period. The following institutions have shifts during the next week which do NOT
have personnel assigned to it:

GWU
UTEP
Yerevan
W&M
CMU
NSU
KNU
FSU
Frascati

Please make sure you have personnel assigned to the shift and this is
reflected in the file /home/elton/shifts/signup_shifts.txt. Thanks, Elton.

> To sign up, edit the file below. It can be edited by any member of the
"clas" UNIX group. On the Jlab CUE machine, the file is
/home/elton/shifts/signup_shifts.txt

> Replace the name of your Institution with the person to man the shift

For experiment operation, the expert serves the role of the shift leader.

Expert Shifts (DRAFT)
=====================

Each institution has the responsibility to fill its own expert shifts. A
novice may become an expert after four novice shifts and familiarity with
procedures in the counting house including:

1. Communication with MCC and Hall B beamline
2. Alarm systems and response to them
3. Target
4. Starting and stoping data runs
5. Monitor histograms
