EGN Friends:

Here is a preliminary agenda for the EGN meeting at the CLAS
collaboration meeting.
One focus of the meeting should be on the analysis of data from the
February/March run and the status of cosmic ray calibration.
The other focus should be on the commissioning plans for the 2 (?)
Cherenkov counters (sectors 4, 6), the 6 forward angle calorimeters,
and the 2 large angle calorimeters (sectors 1, 2).

(I) Analysis of the February/March run and cosmic ray data

1) EC analysis
- min. ion. analysis of run data (T.Y. Tung, LC Smith)
- timing analysis (W. Brooks, K. Egiyan)
- 2-gamma event analysis (S. Stepanyan)
- new cosmic ray data analysis (LC Smith)

2) LAEC analysis
- cosmic ray analysis (V. Giourdjian ?)
- other issues (P. Rossi?, M. Ripani?)

3) Cherenkov counter
- electron detection efficiency/pion rejection
(P. Stoler, J. Manak)

4) Event building in EGN and CLAS detectors
(S. Stepanyan,,.. ?)

5) Other data analysis aspects (to be defined)

(II) Software development for EC, LAEC, CC commissioning
Status and goals (W. Brooks, V. Giourdjian?, A. Vlassov)

(III) Requirements for data taking during June runs
for EC, EC1, CC (each group to present 1-3 slides)
1) goals to be accomplished
2) run conditions (luminosity, B-field, triggers, energy, ....)
3) minimum data volume needed
4) special online software required
5) who will analyse the data
6) time scale when analysis should be completed
7) documentation - how and who?

(IV) Other EGN cal/com issues

Please let me know by Thursday 5pm if you have any suggestions for
