Sebastian,

On the regarding the question what energies to run at I can only agree
with running longer at 2 GeV as I was favoring a division like that
at the eg1 meeting. Your calculation on the errors confirm my hunch.

I have to do some more thinking on the helicity scheme. On the 0.5sec
versus 1 second I prefer the longer time period as it gives us more
integrated charge per unit time for each helicity and therefore better
accuracy in the charge integration per helicity. This may be especially
important if we want to use the Faraday cup for charge integration as
its time constant maybe in the order of several tens of milliseconds.
The "overhead" on lost charge per helicity would then be smaller if
we have to take out events that occur shortly after the helicity flip.
