I know, we just had a meeting, but it is not too early to start
thinking about the next one. We should probably plan on having meetings
once a month or so until the begin of the run - that's only 5 more
meetings.
I would like to propose Friday, February 6. I know some EG1 people will
be in town anyway (the PAC meeting is essentially during the earlier part
of that week, and the second part of E1 running will begin the following
week). Please send in your votes and/or suggestions for alternative
dates. (As far as I know, E2 plans to meet on Thursday).
Depending on the size of the agenda, we may be able to do it in 1/2
day again, or maybe we do need a whole day. Let me know whether you
prefer the morning or afternoon.
Obviously one of the agenda items will be progress on the target and other
devices. The Readiness Review has been moved (so it is NOT going to occur
on 1/30), most likely to mid-February (so we will know the result of the
systems test at Oxford). The EG1 meeting might be a good opportunity to
get ready for that review.
Another item I would like to put on the agenda will be data acquisition
issues. I will try to gather information beforehand, and invite some
experts (Arne, Dieter,...). We need to understand better how to read
out the beam devices, and how to determine helicity-correlated changes
in intensity and other beam parameters.
Greetings to y'all -
