On page 7 of $CLAS_DOC/CLASevent.ps, there is an & missing on the line
that assigns dchits. It should read:

dchits = (DCDataPtr)&bcs_.iw[ind]; /* cast first data word */

A not-so-obvious error for someone just getting started in C.

This document has been unchanged since March 1995, if not longer. What is
the procedure for correcting the documentation? This will become more
important as more people begin using the software packages and as
fresh documentation is written.
