1) CIS allowed the "site" and "work" disks to be mounted by certain
standalone on-site workstations.
2) Mark I. built a complete set of Linux libraries for release-1-9.
So now I can sit at my Linux box and work on my own "user" analysis
routine (or package development), linking to the libraries on CUE. Before
it was necessary to be a recsis librarian even though I was on site.
If the CUE site disk "/site/clas" is mounted as "/apps/clas" on the
standalone workstation, you should be able to use jlab.cshrc to set up
your recsis environment.
Thanks to Mark and Ian.
