First my problem:

I can't check in code, or do "cvs update", this hangs and sits there
forever. However, "cvs update gsim/geom_st.F" DOES work !!
Possible culprit: "traceroute" tells me that network traffick at JLABS,
especially to jlabs1, the last hop, is very slow. Is there anybody who knows
of a way to avoid this bottleneck and/or how to avoid "cvs" timeouts ?
(This is a National Facility, how come you have an Internet DirtRoad instead
of an on-ramp ?)
NEW SOLUTIONS:
===============
I found the problem with "bnames" in GSIM: the gsim_int.F and gsim_bat.F
files should not call "bos()" this should have been in the clas_ini call to
init_bos. This fixes the problem with GSIM not reading the long
clasbanks.ddl.
(Ofcourse I haven't checked it in due to the above mentioned problem.)
Also, Burin has checked in his updated code for the Start Counter. For Linux
users, I added the required code for "external cosd,sind,tand". The code
compiles (on Linux) but I have not put it through it's pases.
Is there a "photon expert" available to check this code and possibly also
the tagger code ? That would be great.
